Help SOS Can anyone help with STLS outcome 6:2

Hi, I've been tearing my hair out over this unit and was wondering if anyone can help before I go completely bald (not a good look on a woman) The question is Describe the roles of schools in national policies relating to children young people and families. Does this mean I talk about the laws and codes of practice I identified in outcome 4:2 or am I going down the wrong path completely?? Any advice would be wonderful as I am now supporting a look similar to Friar Tuck

I wrote about how it is essential to follow government legislation and policies, updating them when asked, and ensuring staff are kept informed of any updates and changes to these policies and procedures. I also talked about proper training for spotting and dealing with issues and why we need this, adding in Every Child Matters and the multi-agency approach. Finally I explained how the legislation is used to protect children from abuse, discrimination and ensure fair treatment for all regardless of culture, background or ability. Just had this verified and passed so I was on the right track after all. Hope it helps
