Spent last week doing doctors role play based around Miss Polly had a dolly. Idea was to encourage our boys (we only have 1 girl at the moment!!!) to dress up and widen the resources that they access. It was fantastic fun and encouraged early writing skills in a big way!

That's a brilliant idea Ellie ! and quite a ratio you've got there

Quote:
Miss Polly had a dolly who was sick, sick, sick
So she called for the doctor to come quick, quick, quick
The doctor came with his bag and his hat
And he knocked on the door with a rat-a-tat-tat
He looked at the dolly and he shook his head
He said, 'Miss Polly put her straight to bed'
He wrote on a paper for a pill, pill, pill
'That'll make it better, yes it will, will, will'
