Help SOS Is There a Exam for CCLD NVQ 2 ?????

Hi, this is going to sound like a really daft question, but I am slightly confused, is there a exam for CCLD NVQ 2 only when I signed up for the course I was told I had to pay the £ 78.00 for the exam, and no one else on my course has paid. Any advice would be fab

hi im doing nvq 2 through college im not doing a exam the course is portfollio based ie gaining knowledge and recording it through class work reflective accounts child observations etc and being assossed. and practical work placement. your portfollio will be marked by your assossor then a internal assossor may look at it.

People doing a full apprenticeship will probably be doing a CACHE certificate alongside the NVQ. For this there is a multiple choice exam for the second unit.
The NVQ itself is just a voccational course. (Unless different awarding bodies have different expectations!?!)

Highfive CCLD nvq exam

Hello, Many Thanks for all of you who responded to my question, I only asked as when I signed up for the course, they said I would have to complete a exam at the end of the course, which turns out that the information I was given was wrong, I still had to pay £78 for the assessors fee's, they just failed to mention that.

Many Thanks for all who have taken the time to answer the question, I am very grateful.
