Hi and welcome to the site :)

Element CCLD 206.5 Encourage children to explore and investigate
Performance criteria
1. Examine and display objects of interest with children taking the opportunities offered to enhance children's learning
2. Help children to use indoor and outdoor areas
3. Find out about community resources to encourage children to explore and investigate

PC1 could be so many things - a table top surface or a basket filled with objects - leaves & cones, bricks and balls, colours and shapes, a sheet, canopy, picnic plates ..
Opportunities are the questions you all raise and engage with whilst handling, smelling, listening, hearing, sitting on, standing on the items. Building, wearing, exploring and learning - what stacks, what falls over, who likes what, where things come from, what are they called, what do they do ..

PC3 - I interpret community resources as anything openly available or accessible to the public with permission - this could be an outdoor play area/park, a woodland, a box of decorations owned by another group, books, enthusiastic people - story tellers, gardeners who dig in soil.. Do you have links with local retailers who maybe supply items for treasure trails, creative activities, a post office who've maybe donated a quantity of envelopes for play?

I hope this helps xx
