Hi, would it help guide your choices if you know what the children's areas of interest are? maybe alongside another activity you could print images of book fronts with a short summary of the storyline, once discussed you could all make informed decisions together.

The storybook selection on silkysteps is organised using themes & topics and may help where you know there's a learning focus, there are also reviews on site that might help with linking activities - search 'book review

Alternatively tadpoles are good for spring - teeny weeny tadpole, CD player & role play figures are good for children who enjoy learning with tactile interaction.

Hth xx
