Sorry feel silly asking this but explain the legal and ethical tensions between confidentiality and sharing information is this to do with reporting abuse and committing a crime as my head is imploding right now last few question then I finish this unit then I can start my last one please help.

I have answered it but not sure if correct as I am awaiting my tutors reply. I explained about sharing information and confidentiality and the legislation guiding this and how and how it effects our setting and others. like benefits to the child and family, and how the legislation might be put a side for risk of significant harm to the child. Then I based my ethical argument on the trust we have with the parents and friendships with staff and how this can effect or decisions.
