hi, im supervisor of the after school club, we are a full day care so have nursery children to, at the last inspection they didnt even stay for the after school club but wrote about it in the report!!!

im also supervisor of the holiday playscheme, same owner but held in a different building, age 4-14, we were inspected in the summer, we got outstanding and all i did for the 4 yr olds was had an excercise book for their learning journeys putting in just 1 comment a day on 1 activity linking it to the eyfs but at the front of their books I put a list of activities that are on offer daily with links to eyfs, saying the children have free choice and the 4 yr olds are catered for through these activities.
hope this helps
