Lightbulb Sticky tape attachment - inclusive play idea

The craft Elephant showers has been updated and now also includes a play idea using upturned electrical sticky tape.

It's a nice activity suited to focus, themed and open play & is easily adapted to follow children's interests and loose media expression.

If possible, position as a 'drive by or drop in type activity where it'll be easily accessible and engages the widest number of participants.

Suggested ideas ..

Trains - lay tape in a track format and include associated loose media: signs, wheels, pictures/imagery, small world conductors, drivers, train tickets, time tables.
Cars - use tape as the beams of a headlight, road markings
Plants - build green tape into a stem & stalk design - provide places where leaves, seeds, seed packets, grass, petals, sepals, bits of string, ties, labels, tags can be collected for attatchment to the tape.
Emotions - add paper, mark making tools and scissors for facial expression and sticking.
Colours: build a rainbow using segmented colours and linked media.
Seasons: 4 strips of tape in different seasonal colours can focus on the years events or larger activities as a season at a time is explored.
Opposites: look for opposites that help the collection of collage items - big & small, tall and short, loud & quiet, wet & dry might be interesting
Festivals - will provide excellent focussed opportunities to stick smaller items onto displayed tape.

Please add on with ways you've enjoyed sticking tape ..
