Follow the adventures of Beatrice as she heads off to visit her Grandad with a bunch of bananas as a present for him.

An Ethiopian tale that details Beatrice's encouters with a Giraffe that accidently flicks her bananas into the nearby stream, sorry the giraffe offers a bunch of flowers in exchange which beatrice happily accepts, the bees however have other plans for the flowers and as beatrice tries too keep the bees away the flowers become spoilt.. the bees are also sorry and as an apology give her some wrapped honeycomb for grandad. Beatrice continues her journey meeting some fun loving monkeys down the path ..

Eventually the Elephant, after a huge sneeze reaches up to pick another bunch of bananas for beatrice to give to her grandad so all is as it started ..

Bright and colourful this is a good book for food and animal names, awareness of other countries & sequences, cause & effect.
