Hi there, i'm doing my tech cert and nvq3 and have found this forum a wealth of information (although i only signed up today!!)
Thought it time to thank everyone by helping someone else....

confidentiality/disclosure of information - The Data Protection act 1998

adult/child ratio/supervision - EYFS and The Childrens Act

working with children with disabilities/sen - Part 4 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (as amended by the Special Educational Needs and Disability Act 2001)

child protection/safeguarding childern - The Children’s Act 1989 – s47, The Protection of Children Act 1999, Data Protection Act 1988, The Children’s Act 1999 (Every Child Matters)

Hope that helps and good luck, i promise it gets easier as you get used to what you are supposed to be doing and harder as the workload and knowledge increases, well thats what i've found anyway :o)
