aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggg gone all goose bumpy just reading that!!! Ive got a phobia of butterflies and every time we do the life cycle of a butterfly I end up making a total fool of myself infront of staff, children and parents.........including throwing up and running out of the room as one came out of its cocoon!!!

Excellent list xx

I have family members with a similar dodge and run response to moths and butterflies, it's not much fun for them at times. On the other hand I was really pleased to find a buddleia seedling sprouting between gravel & paving stones a few days ago and have now rehoused it in a pot

I have a 'pet caterpillar' - well one in the garden that's preparing for change at the moment - which I'm photographing to make life-cycle pictures for real.
