Cut in funding for the Music and enetertainment element of the Seafest annual maritime festival in Scarborough in July due to budget pressures on Scarborough Council and NYCC. We will be fundraising to carry on the festival but it will undoubtedly be much reduced. All work done by organisers will be unpaid and many artists will have to give time for free.So far have been unable to raise sponsorship ' the recession' quoted as reason by potential sponsors.
