If you have a look at your school e-safety or ICT policy the answer is there. Although haven't got yet my assessment back but more that likely that is related to it.
security is about username and passwords.
storage will be more likely where the laptops and USB equipment is located and if they also contain a password and encryption.
As I said I may be wrong but I think it make sense what I'm saying.
