Climate cops from npower

Household Superheroes

We all know how hard it can be trying to manage the household, from getting the kids to school, to preparing dinner, not to mention all of the washing and cleaning! And now there’s the pressure to make sure that everything we do is environmentally friendly which can lead to family disputes.

We’ve also had one of the coldest, wettest winters in living memory to contend with and research has found that this has caused a surge of arguments throughout the UK, with the household temperatures proving to be one of the key catalysts. The research by npower shows the ideal temperature in the house to avoid destructive arguments is 21 degrees Celsius.

Well it doesn’t have to be so tough, in this video parenting expert Lorraine Thomas gives you tips to get your kids involved in the house work by making the chores seem fun. Not only will this improve their confidence by making them feel like they are contributing to the family home. It will also encourage them to become more “green” and start thinking about the small steps they can take to help reduce global warming.

To encourage your kids to get more environmentally friendly why not watch the following video and help them decide whether they want to be the Waste Warrior, Mess Monitor or Climate Cop in your home….
