Hi. :)
i just did an assignment similar to this.
Statutory- is a term used for setting that are government funded, and they have to be avaliable by law, such as schools, social workers, libraries. schools will be registered and inspected by ofsted.
Non statutory include two types. Private and voluntary.
Private- are settings run as businesses to make profit. Parents will have to pay for these provisions. Examples, creche, private nursery, childminder.
Voluntary-Means provisions that are run through charity. Examples include, charities, scouts, playgroups, and work experience for students.

For the second task, find some private school for example in your local area. Explain what they do, when they open, age, ethos e.t.c. and then choose a practitioner who would work in the setting for instance an early years practitioner and explain her role and resposibility. do the same for private and voluntary.
Hope this helps :))
