Question about nominated person

Hi everyone
I'm new here so I'm not sure if iv posted in the right section.

If 3 people own a nursery and one has to be nominated as the nominated person, what are the differences as far as who has control overall?

Does the nominated person decide on what staff are employed and have more control of the nursery or is it all shared equally?

I cant find much information online and iv been searching all over.
