Coffee The Scent of Summer

I got asked this question by my Mother-Out-Law, and I wondered what your answers would be:

What, to you, does Summer smell like?

For me it's fresh cut grass and charcoal with a backdrop of lilac - takes me back to my childhood!

yes to the fresh cut grass, but also roses, lavender, barbecues and tarmac when there's just been a shower and the hot sun is drying it up...

Suntan oil! children playing outside!people sitting outside the pub!cricket!the smell of grass, vegetables sprouting!! Smiling faces! being able to walk without coats!! Ice cream vans !for me feeling really relaxed ,being able to go and sit on the beach, watching the children explore the rock pools whilst I sit and watch !
