Default What would you change in the EYFS?

Hi Everyone,

I am just hoping to start a bit of a discussion about the EYFS here as I have noticed a few things relevant to children's development are ommitted from the learning goals. Can I ask you all, what would you change (if anything) about the principles and context of the EYFS, and why would you change it? If you would make no changes, please explain why.

Thanks for taking your time to read and comment :)

Miss Dee x

Hi Tutu,

Thank you for replying, it is for discussion at University and we have been challenged to ask other professionals this question. I'd just like to get more responses. I have pin pointed a few things I'd like to change. My task was to....

Ask your colleagues/ professionals what they would change (if anything) about the principles and context of the EYFS, and why they would change it. If they would make no changes, ask them to explain this response too. Bring notes from your discussion to the session.

you really ought to make it clear that your question isn't personal but for uni work, otherwise you are getting people to do YOUR uni work for you. this would be far easier answered in a team meeting as why should people type out huge response giving justifications when it is for your work? I'm always happy to help students but only when they're clear that they're asking for help not just a chat

Hi :-) Thank you but I am certainly not asking people to do my uni work for me. I have noted my opinions and some of the things Id like to add or alter. Anyother response is noted as another persons opinion. This is only for discussion and not for a written task on the EYTS course.
