Default Baby room

So I've just joined the baby room, Ive worked in the setting for about 3 years. Do you do topics? what types of art work and messy play do you do with babies 6week to around 14 months?
TIA

Hi welcome to the site, sounds like you've been pushed in knee deep xx

If it helps, can you find out about the routine and activities that were happening before you joined the room? what the resource cupboard looks like and maybe speak with parents and ask what they enjoy doing at home with their children?

Topics aren't always flexible enough to meet the individual needs of children or babies, they are able to offer structure to adults.

See what happens for arrival & settling in, when activities/play occurs eg. carpet, tummy time, sensory room, toilet & nappy changing times, drinks, meals and sleeping, times when children are inside, outside and what toys, play areas, pathways are available.

Best wishes
