Preschool Early Years resource The Yule log mouse's winter home - playdough story rhyme

Have fun with storytelling in this festive playdough activity as you share traditions of winter, Christmas and Yule, the colder weather, gift giving, family, friends and food!

Roll ropes of brown dough and drape over real logs or printed yule log outline sheets as ivy branches, cut green dough leaves and add texture with artificial & real leaves. Use the mouse characters in role play and sort in order of size using positional, descriptive language.
