A learning support practitioner when working with the children often see how a child may need support in activities or if they are exceeding expectation . By taking notes they are able to inform the teacher of the childs needs and therefore help plan what help they may need to help them progress or develop further, They can then deliver this the next time. By continually doing this they can review the planning accordingly. It is important to keep evaluating learning activities as the childs needs may change or your planning may not work and may need changing

you need to identify what skills you have in this area and how they help you to teach the children these skills, If you can identify where you yourself may need help then you can say that you would find it useful to go on any courses available that may help you

Hi, to describe how a learning support practitioner contributes to the planning, delivery and review of learning activities you need to think about what happens in your setting/workplace and how involved you are with helping deliver the teachers planning and activities to the children.

Level 2 STl handbook on amazon.co.uk pages 157+ and the TDA 2.10 unit on OCR
