Hi, hanky tag is a run around game, ideally outside!

Everyone including staff tucks a hanky in a waistband or up a sleeve and the aim of the game is to grab them from everyone (but not your own) and collect them in a bucket or bowl etc.

Depending on the age of the children, when all are collected the game is over or last one with their hanky still in place is the winner .. not always so easy to see who that is though !

I've no idea if this is the game's original name ?

paper chase style (smaller scale!)

I saw some children playing this game on the field at the local school the other day and didn't have a clue what they were doing! I must have led a sheltered life!
