Right, this is what I have to offer, I decided I didn't like the poem I mentioned before, so I've written these instead.....

Birds

Birds in my garden
Birds in the air
Birds on the rooftops
Birds everywhere
Blue tits on the milk bottle
Sparrows in the bath
Wrens in the hedgerow
Starlings on the path
Robin on the feeder
Blackbird in a tree
Chaffinch in a little nest
Song thrush sings to me

I Really Like My Garden

I really like my garden,
It's full of feathered friends,
There's a family of blackbirds,
And one or two small wrens.
A robin visits daily
He's plump with a red breast.
A chaffinch with his loud song
And soft pink cheeks and vest.
A group of blue tits flutter in
With coats of blue and yellow,
And a spotty-chested song thrush,
Now there's a timid fellow.
A pair of lovely soft grey doves
Will come to sit and 'coo,
They like eat the nuts and seeds
And even breadcrumbs too.
A flock of sparrows will drop in,
They're lots of shades of brown.
They're followed by the starlings,
Those colourful, noisy clowns.
I really like my garden,
It's full of lovely birds.
I listen to their chirpy songs,
But never hear the words!

The Birds

The birds flock to my garden
To eat the scraps and nuts
To root around for insects
And live in our bird huts

What about 'two little dickie birds'
sitting on a wall
one named peter, one named paul,
fly away peter, fly away paul
come back peter, come back paul.
