Summer holidays & memory

How do you find your children are in settling back into a routine again and do you think the weeks & weeks of holidays is good or bad for their memory?

We had notes from school to 'remind' us to read with our children throughout the hols... !!

From a oldie!! Remember that the first two days of holiday were always the worst !! and then they relaxed in to the new routine.I used to love the holidays as we could do so much and not have to rush for times etc!
Enjoy the time with your children as time slips by and soon they have flown the nest, married and have their own children!
