Do you have a copy of the EYFS? You need to look at the ages of the children you are working with, and plan something that ties in with their development and planning, eg: under linking sounds and letters (p50 in my EYFS), age 22-36 months, it says under planning "Use pupppets and other props to encourage listening and respnding when singing a familiar song or reading from a story book". Maybe plan an activity incorporating something like that and you need to explain what outcomes you want children to get from it and why you chose to do it that way.
