hi has anybody started doing the new level 3 qualification and if so how different is it i am being signed up for it and am a bit worried as everyone in my setting is on the old qualification :reading:

much better, much harder, much more academic ie more writing and it has to be at level 3. you need to do a level 4 unit and the teaching should be far better. will far outstrip the nvq in a few years time

I started the level 3 diploma at the end of Feb, it is much harder than the NVQ but as pp has mentioned it is upscaled from the NVQ so you will be more qualified. Good luck with it x
