Oh, No!!! All Change!!

Oh no, we were all set for Christmas dinner at Mam's tomorrow, even went food shopping at 11pm last night, and now she's got a sickness bug!!!!:vomit: I'm now hosting the Christmas feast, the living room will have to be rearranged, the feast prepared, plus my jam-packed day of chores today to be done as well!! :muted: I'm panicking - you know how it is when you know what your role is, you relax and enjoy it when you're all ready!!!! AARRGGHHH!!! Stress-levels, way high!

Off to collect the food from Mam's now, then I'll be the one at the sink peeling and chopping for hours - just like everyone else!

Thanks for letting me offload!

I'm also doing the buffet thing on Christmas Day too. Just spoken to Mam, she's still nauseous so she's not coming! :weepy: I've said we'll do it all again in a couple of weeks.

what a shame that she is still ill, even if it means less cooking
i am soooo looking forward to not having to spend ages in the kitchen tomorrow (and got really cute mini fish and chips and burgers in tescos really looking forward to them!)

Well, we had a lovely meal, there's enough leftover to do it all again tomorrow! Tried something a little different - roasted my parsnips (!) in the pork fat - yummy. Well, kids are in bed, Santa's grub's out, just some last minute pressie wrapping while watching The Muppets Christmas Carol (family tradition) and we'll be off to bed too!

Merry Christmas Everyone:wreath:
