I check Ebay prices - but I also look at other sites esp play.com and bookdepository.com for books, cds, dvds etc as Ebay can be pricey on postage.

As I seller, I understand that people hike up their postage prices because of the high Ebay and Paypal charges, but it does make it prohibitive when bidding gets silly at the end of an item's listing!

Plus we've had a few bad experiences with sending things back when they were bought on Ebay. Sellers just do not want to know, then they either put a strike against us which we have to fight to remove, or they disappear, only to pop up as someone else a few days later...

Sorry! :soapbox:

I agree Sarahs stuff is brilliant. I do not have an ebay account but a friend bids on things for me if I really want something as i give her a limit and she does not go over it. lol

love Kate
