Book Review Book Review: This and That - A farmyard story

Preschool Book review for the Early Years.

This and That is a cute book about a farm cat getting ready for the arrival of some smaller cats

Written by Julie Sykes and Illustrated by Tanya Linch it is a great read that asks the question of why cat wants to borrow certain things from each of the farm animals ..

From Horse it's the stable, Pig's nice clean straw & some hay from Goat.

Sheep gladly gives some soft wool, feathers from hen and a few hairs from Cow's tail - to finish up Donkey's purple ribbon from his summer hat.

All the animals are curious as to what Cat is doing with all their borrowed items and so creep up quietly to the stable to take a peek ... two very cute new arrivals greet them, nestled in the warmth and shelter of everyones belongings !!

The torn edged illustrations throughout the book are wonderful and captivate the reader/s in the story from beginning to end ...
