EYFS planning Even more confused!

Thought we were going great with our planning. Colour coding our planning of toys for which area of learning they cover (we wraparound so not having to cover it as in depth as full day care) Development officer has been out today and says no need to cover each area of learning just put down which of the 5 outcomes the toys cover! And need a focused activity to move the children on which i thinking is contradicting what she said about not doing the ELG as focused activity will need to be related to ELG! Confused? i am
