Default Interview help please!!

I have a TA interview next week for a reception class and have to take in an appropriate story to share with the class. I was thinking 'The Smartest Giant in Town.' Do you think this would be age appropriate for the children? Also following the story I have to complete a written task, I expect this will be related to the story and how I could link it to EYFS/National Curriculum and activities I could plan to follow on from this. Any advice would be massively appreciated please!!
