look at the planning cycle, use a search engine.
you observe children work out what their individual needs are, their age and stage of development etc then plan an activity that will challenge the children/child and impliment it then evaluate it say if it helped them improve skills what worked well what didnt etc and then you keep going through the planning cycle.
as a team you and other staff should talk about ideas etc using eachothers stengths, you should have a planned routiene in place, you can talk to parents and children about the childs likes etc and take this into concideration when planning as a child is more likely to learn from positive times (skinner) from their experiances (piaget) and through play (maria montessori, frobel, mcmillan)that interests them also activities where an adult interacts with the child, provides openeded questions etc (bruner) also help development. therefore you could talk about types of activities-i.e gluing and sticking, adult/child led etc how it meets the needs of indevidual children, how it could be planned to adapt in different ages and stages etc
you could talk about long and short term planning, topics etc
hope this helps
