Biggrin Spring Walk

Jade and I took Lucy the dog for a lovely spring walk this morning. The sun was shining, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, the birds were singing and as it was so quiet along the semi-woodland path we were on we saw loads of flowers, insects and animals! Considering we spent maybe 15 minutes on this one stretch, it was a lot. We saw:

1 brimstone butterfly, 2 orange tip butterflies (1 each male and female), bumble bees , buttercups, cowslips, dandelions, dandelion clocks, bluebells, may (hawthorn) blossom, cherry blossom, wild strawberry plants, celandines, pink-tipped daisies, blackbirds, a robin, 2 wrens, half a dozen blue tits, we got swooped at by numerous playful swallows, a cheeky chattering squirrel , a 'host' of sparrows, 2 'murmurations' of starlings, forget-me-nots, gorse, ground beetles, ladybirds , spiders (we got caught up in lots of silk strands) and lots of flies!

All in all we had a beautiful walk and I just wanted to share it with you all.
