Default 403, its really difficult

hey everyone,
just found your site and its been very reassuring to learn that so many of you are finding this unit hard. i have spent about 13 hours working on K4D807- the development plan linking to the theorists. well have finished that (i think) and just about to start on K4D806, more stuff on theorists but i have been ask to write it as a reflective account and relate it back to my own practice. it seems soooooo indepth and am just a bit worried that i will be writing sheets and sheets of paper.

i have only just started the 4 (end of july) and i cant say im enjoying it at the moment but the more i put into it the quicker it will be done.

sorry to off load, feeling a bit better now.

Yep it was the same for me too!
I looked at the different theorists then looked at what I do in my setting and reflected on it
eg
Social Learning Theory (Bandura)
This can be referenced to the Pre School activity of role play where children copy what adults and other children do, learning from what they are doing.

Constructivist Learning Theory (Jean Piaget)
This theory links closely to how our Pre School is run today. The emphasis is put on learning through play with children taking the lead in their own learning experiences.

I did write pages and pages!!

Wow - 13 hours on 807!! You must have done reams!!!! I spent about 4 hours and thought I'd done loads.

806 if this helps is how we were advised to do it - Write about what the headings mean, who the theorist is and then how that links to everyday practice. (For each heading.) Did about 21 pages!

403 is the most difficult unit of the 4 mandatory ones, but we were told to put extra effort into this one, as then we can cross reference lots of our optional units into it. I have cross referenced a little of my other three units into this one, but it has been hard. Struggling through on 809, and then just have K4T1113 left of this unit before I sit and read back through it all to see if I need to top up anymore.

Keep going - the course will be worth it in the end, and think how good you'll feel when it's all done!

Thanks for any help!
