thanks for the great ideas everyone.... I feel a bit more inspired for work tomorrow now, I may be swimming up stream at work .. but at least the people here are going in the same direction!!!

and bumped almost 2 years on to the day with a photo of the bags.

If interested in searching for them, to buy or locate other ideas on the internet, a few keywords I found useful are - laundry, tablets, drawstring, nets, mesh, bag ..


The bag featured here has a smallish foam lock for securing the top, which may be better if replaced with a spring loaded cord lock (unaffiliated ebay link) - or taken off completely.

Was reminded of this thread whilst trying to think up a sensory display board idea for a fruit theme - the bags are now holding dried orange peel and cinnamon sticks theses bags measure approx 14cm width & 11cm high.
