Default Emergancy Action plan for Pandemic

Hi ya

Does anyone know anything about an Emerrgancy Action Plan or Policy which we should have in place now? Apparently it is covered in detail on the latest
First Aid courses but I'm having trouble getting booked on.

Thanks

There are a few old posts on this subject - do a search for flu or pandemic and see if that's any help:reading:

I have put one on the parents page of my website if it's any help -

www.knutsfordchildminding.co.uk

It's for childminders but I'm sure you can adapt it for your setting

The other two documents that can be used to put together your own policy are from teachernet:

PRACTICAL STEPS TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF PANDEMIC FLU IN EARLY YEARS AND CHILDCARE SETTINGS -Teachernet.gov.uk

Short ECM version - Planning for a human influenza pandemic

Teachernet's info page - Influenza advice and DoH's leaflet on Swine flu
