help with CCLD 201.12 / DR5G 04

The knowledge point says ' Organisational policy regarding information exchange'. I do not know what this means or what it is asking me. Can anyone help please ? I get that there must be confidentiality when dealing with information but what are they asking for here ?

this is partly covered by the confideniality and the data proctection act also information must be on a need to know basis , imformation must only be given to authozied persons .Your work placement will also be able to tell you who and what imformation you may pass on . I am a volunteer so I am told to say I can't keep secerts and must imform my manger of anything I am told and to get them to talk to staff .

its about any info exchange. between you and other professional and with the setting and parents. so policies like confidentiality, observations, referrals to outside agencies, etc how do es the setting share info and what policies impact on it
