hi need a bit of help.
k2c6 what are the key features of effective communication
why is it important to model these when interacting with adults and children.
what are the main differences between communicating with adults and children.
k2c8 how do you demonstrate that you value adults views and opinions.
why is it important.
202.3 describe how you would encourage children to be aware of their bodies and protect themselves .

Hi this abouthow you communicate with others. features of effective communication are making eye contact, if you are talking to a child try and make sure you are at their level,using age appropriate language eg you would use more complex sentence structure when talking to an adult. Asking open-ended questions and giving the person time to say what they need to without you interupting shows that you value adults views and opinions. It is important to model effective communication as this shows respect and you are being a good role-model to the children as they learn by watching the adults around them
Think about adults and children that have speech or hearing dfifficulties and also those that have english as a second language.
