Default The Developing Child Unit 2

hi i am new to this im struggling with this assignment spesh this question ..
explain y it is important for practitioners to understand the pattern of development of children from birth to 16
i have wrote a lil bit but its not enough as the whole thing is worth 20 points if any one can help much apprechaited x i fill as tho im not getting any were with this one

Hi i wrote it is important to understand childrens patterns of development so you remain realistic with your expectations i then gave an example of the age group i work with against an older age group and went on to say it can give them low self esteem and confidence if you expect them to do activities that they are unable to perform. I also wrote that if you are familiar with childrens development it will help you to build an enviroment for them that would suite their stage of development. You could also mention that if you are familiar with childrens development and make regular observations then you are able to notice when a child is showing delays in development in specific areas. Hope this helps

Im doing my level 3 and this question is asked but in a different way and unit but its along same lines. Keep your level two work as if you decide to do your level 3 much of it can be used and expanded on i have a friend who is doing the same.
