Biggrin Sleeping Pigs

Bit of an odd request this, but I read in a newspaper yesterday that pigs only sleep on their right sides!!!! They will suckle piglets and laze around on both sides but apparently only sleep on the right side!! Can anyone confirm this? Do you know/are you a pig farmer? I'm intrigued and need to know! :bouncy: Maybe I should just buy a pig (scientific purposes you understand!) and find out!:rotfl:

Thanks

Ahhh .. do Guinea pigs fall into this category as you may have a valid excuse to add to the furry head count then !

ok - voice of experience here,
me - been in chilcare for 30 years,
hubby- been pig farming for 34 years.
Pigs snooze, snore, sleep on both sides just in case you are still enquiring.
