Lightbulb Materials - making Elmer elephants from milk bottles

we have had Materials as our term topic and in my group of three year olds we made a giant Elmer and used various materials including glitter, sand, paint, chalk, fabric, woodshavings, crayons, pencils, tissue paper and foam shapes. The children thoroughly enjoyed this activity and it also helped to learn the square shape too.
