As a 'not for profit' organisation we are having to be more selective about the length of time we are able to offer to help and support learners. Further threats come from not knowing our contract values and volumes in time for the new financial year - announcements are so late we may not be able to demonstrate viable business plans. This threatens our existence as we obviously don't have financial reserves to call on. All Skills Funding Agency and DWP contracts under further threat of cuts and local delivery under threat from multi-million pound prime contractor organisations who don't have local knowledge or infrastructure.
