Default recycling activity

for a recycling week once, we had serveral cardboard boxes lined up along a wall with pics on of tins, papers, plastic bottles etc. the children were encouraged to bring in sometihng from home everyday and put it in the correct recycling box. we also had a wall display of litter

My children are 22mths and 3yrs but they love helping with the recycling. We are provided with two boxes and two wheelie bins. DS and DD fight over helping me to carry the rubbish outside.

Recycling to most adults is a new thing but to our children hopefully it will be a natural thing to do since they have been brought up with it.
