we have some herbs in our nursery garden. The smell from the lavender had the children very interested. A friend told me to cut back the lavender so we got the children to help us do this and made lovely lavender bags for them all.
Very good way of using natural resources and using all senses. i agree.

I usually have herbs in my back yard and the one that the kids seem to always head for is a curry plant. It smells just like a nice curry and can be picked up a most garden centres.

I can feel a request for a list coming on ....................

Something perfect enough to take along to the local garden centre and say 'These ones please'

Artemesia, Mint, Rosemary, lavendar, Lemon geranium
