Default methods used to monitor children and yound peoples development

I have done a few methonds and now I am stuck as to if I have included them all I know there are loads of methods etc.

Would Annual reviews for children with statements be one method of checking children and young peoples development? This could be used to check to see if they have reached their goals etc

Also IEP individual education plan would that be another method as well?
What about p scales I know these are used for children with SEN needs but not sure how these r used ( can anyone explain this please?)

I think I answered this question with the methods I use which are a development file for the child covering all areas of the eyes also observations . This was signed off last week and taken for IV I would also use the examples you have mentioned
Hope this helps x

I would say yes as you start to monitor the child's development from birth onwards . Also look at what methods you use in your setting as I'm a Childminder I have had to devise my own methods to what suits me best. Although I must admit I am tending to answer most of these questions as if I was in a nursery setting
