Default BA Childhood Studies Newbie to the site please can someone help?!!

Hi everyone,
I studied HNC childhood studies last year and am currently studying the 2nd year BA Childhood Studies degree. I live in Scotland and not sure how my qualifications compare to the qualifications discussed on the forums.

I am currently trying to write a 1000 word summary on equality and inclusion legislation and it's impact on staff and children in the early years sector. I have to mention stereotyping, discrimination and prejudice and have to focus on one affected group eg disability, race, gender etc. I am so confused and don;t know where to start. Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Suzie
