we display the children's work based on a theme but also put up a brief note to inform parents which of the 6 areas of learning it refers to.Then a brief description of how the children did it ( using direct quotes from the children). We also attach photos of the children while doing the activity. We have a "display book" so that we can keep a record of it. This is available for the children to look through.

Default Planning display

We put the planning up so parents can see it, but they don't look at it. How do other people display their planning and what do they put up.
Thanks

I've got an EYFS in practice in the baby room which takes one commitment from each principle and shows how it is applied in the room, I've then got a display for each learning and development areas. CLL - is about baby communication, PSRN - is about routines, PSED - is all about me, PD & CD is the activities we provide to meet their development and KUW is about investigating ICT light up toys at the moment.

At the moment its mainly pictures & documents with children's work. The all about me board is also got different vocab such mum, mumm and then where there is 2nd languages the term is used - maman, papa, grand-mere/pere

we have a huge display in our entrance lobby area. it's a photo display covering the 6 areas of learning. the photos are sort of split into the 6 areas but ribbon markers, and we have questions relating to the pictures, such as what do we like to do outside, which is our favourite fruit. the parents love it and every single child from the youngest baby to the oldest pre-school is on it. The kids love it too. Also where it is situated is where the pre-school have their pegs, and often when we come in or go outside the3y will look for their pictures or ask staff to read a question.
