Default Touchy feely books

Simple to make. You can either make one yourself to pass round to the children and discuss it with them, or better still, get the children to make their own. All you will need are some pieces of card either A4 or A5, a hole punch, glue, scissors, sticky tape, etc. and a variety of textured materials. Examples: velvet, wool, muslin, sandpaper, tin foil, textured wallpaper, tinsel and many more! Get the children to stick the different textures on the pieces of card, and get them to tell you what they think the items feel like! You might get some funny responses!
