Hi, the space allocation & adult to child ratios detailed in
eyfs do set the standard, the human touch was provided more visibly by ofsted via the certification. For me it means ofsted will save on ink, postal costs & time communicating as it no longer has to include or organise the wording of restrictions on a certificate. Knowing the requirements becomes the focus instead of the restrictions. The exceptions section outlined in the
ages & numbers factsheet might help reassure & dispel concerns?
