that requires you to reflect on your own setting, in my setting they had introduced a maths at home programme(it was a pre school setting), here a maths bag was sent home each week. it contained thing like a set of wild animal, and a book about wild animals, and an explanation card for parents, it encouraged parent to discuss the book with their child, then look at the animals, sorting them by colour, size etc all relating on maths, the parent then completed a homework card saying how their child got on with the bag, hope this helps, but remember to refer to your own setting and something they do to encourage learning at home, good luck
